I ordered from them once and, to be fair, everything showed up as expected. The only thing I’d warn people about is that the tracking was slow to update, which made me a little nervous. I did contact support and they actually replied, so that helped. Based on my experience, they seem trustworthy enough, but I’d still keep an eye on your tracking and reach out if anything feels off.

"Mostly right, just a small mix-up"
So... I ordered a camera bag and a spare battery from cameracompany.com, and for the most part everything showed up as expected. The bag looked like the one I picked out, and the main items were in good shape.
The only thing that threw me off was the battery. It was a different brand than what was shown on the order page. It does work, so it’s not a huge deal, but I would have appreciated a heads up before they sent it.

Shipping was fine and nothing arrived damaged. Overall, not a bad experience, but I do think they could be a little better about making sure the order matches what’s shown online

I got the camera and, i was trying to be optimistic, but it felt cheap as soon as I took it out of the box. The buttons stick, the photos come out softer than I expected, and after just a few days it started glitching. So yeah, totally fine, no big deal... except I’m definitely not happy with it

The checkout took a bit longer than I expected, so I wasn’t totally sure at first if everything was going through. But in the end it worked without any real issue, so I’d say it was okay overall.

"Left Feeling Like I Couldn’t Really Trust Them"
I went in to ask about a used lens and felt ignored at first. Someone did eventually help me, but it felt rushed and not all that friendly, like I was more of an interruption than a customer. The prices seemed okay, but the whole experience kind of threw me off. When I’m buying used camera gear, I need to feel like I can trust the people selling it, and this visit definitely made me lose some confidence in the store...

I was trying to pick up a camera and a couple of lenses, and I don’t think I’m being picky here, but the selection felt really limited. A lot of the stuff I was actually looking for was either missing or out of stock, so I ended up clicking around way longer than I should have. I wanted to buy from them, but there just weren’t enough options, so I ended up ordering somewhere else.

"Refund was a little slow, but fair overall"
I had to send a lens back, and the refund took a bit longer than I would’ve liked. After I emailed them, though, they got it sorted and the money came back fine. It wasn’t the smoothest return experience, but it felt fair in the end

"Gets the job done, but could be smoother"
I was able to find what I needed, so the site definitely works, but compared to other online stores I’ve used, it feels a little dated and slower in spots. The menus are decent enough, though a few product pages took more clicking around than I expected.
Checkout went through fine in the end, but on my phone it didn’t feel as smooth as it does on some newer sites. Nothing was a dealbreaker, but I do think the website could use a bit of a cleanup to make the whole experience easier.

"Feels overpriced for what it is"
I don’t know if it was just me, but the prices felt way too high for what you actually get. I kept wondering if I was missing something, because the value just didn’t really seem to be there. I ended up finding better deals elsewhere quickly.

"Trade-in was fine, but a little confusing"
I traded in my old camera and, it was okay overall. The quote seemed fair enough, but the whole process took longer than I thought it would. I was a bit confused by the updates because they weren’t super clear, so I ended up having to chase them once to figure out what was going on. I did get paid in the end, so it wasn’t bad, just could’ve been a bit smoother.

"Customer service was... fine, I guess"
I ordered a lens from cameracompany.com and ended up having to contact customer service because the tracking decided to go on a little mystery vacation for a few days. They did eventually reply, which was nice, although apparently “soon” means something a bit different over there.

The person I dealt with was polite and did help me in the end, so I’m not going to act like it was a disaster. It just felt slower than it needed to be, and I had to do the fun customer-service dance of chasing for updates. Not awful, not amazing, just very okay.

"Staff actually knew what they were talking about"
I’ll give credit where it’s due, the staff really knew their gear and helped me pick the right lens without making me feel like I should’ve somehow been born knowing all this stuff. They answered my questions quickly too, which was refreshing since that’s apparently not a given everywhere. I’d use The Camera Company again...

Had a decent experience with cameracompany.com. I had to hit them up about my order, and they got back to me fairly quick, not lightning fast, but totally fine. Their reply was clear and friendly, which I appreciated. Took one more message to get everything sorted, but it all worked out in the end, so no biggie.

"Used lens was better than I expected"
I bought a used lens from cameracompany.com i was surprised by how good it looked when it showed up.
Since it was listed as used, I figured thered be a few marks or maybe some obvious wear, but it was really clean overall. The glass looked great, and everything worked exactly like it should.

Shipping was totally fine too, no issues there. Im happy with the whole thing and Id definitely buy used gear from them again.
